GroundHandling
Before taking it to the air, pilots must master controlling the glider on the ground. Launch it above the head, stabilize it and keep it stable. Only then they can turn around and jump into the air. The first steps of groundhandling are the most difficult. The glider is heavy, the wind is strong and the pilot is not yet used to the glider. It is a very dangerous moment, where the pilot can be dragged and injured. We have created a VR application that will teach students the basics of handling paraglider, before practicing with a real one. The application is used in the first 2 days of the course, where students learn the basics of groundhandling. It is also used when the conditions are not suitable for flying.
